Private sector feels chill wind as cuts by the public sector begin to bite
The squeeze on public sector spending is beginning to hit the private sector.

Mouchel, a major engineering, consulting and outsourcing firm, has said in press reports that public sector cuts following the general election had led them to bring in their own cost reduction plan.

But they think the effect of Government action will only be short-term. The need for the public sector to deliver value for money should lead to more outsourcing in the longer term.
