Wrike, the collaborative work management platform for high-performance teams, has announced a desktop application that provides a ‘browserless’ experience for Wrike users.
After a soft launch that saw rapid user adoption and a 2018 Windows Developer Award for Commercial Innovator of the Year, Wrike has announced Wrike for Windows and Wrike for Mac, which it says allow for stronger focus on work by removing the distraction of multiple, assorted tabs in a browser.
“We keep a laser focus on the needs of our customers,” said Wrike CEO and Founder Andrew Filev. “With so many digital tools that workers must access today, it’s important to make work management as frictionless as possible, and we continue to innovate in that regard, while keeping the customer experience a top priority. The Windows Developer Award and overwhelmingly positive feedback from our customers is welcome validation for our approach to product development.”
The Wrike desktop app has all the functions of the web application version of the platform.
"Wrike’s desktop app, along with integrations into Microsoft Teams and other Office 365 apps, reflect the company’s commitment to meeting the needs of its customers in exciting, modern, and innovative ways,” said Microsoft Windows Developer Marketing Manager Chanse Arrington.
Wrike is a SaaS-based collaborative work management platform that helps teams and organizations reach operational excellence. It is used by more than 17,000 companies in 130 countries to transform their operations, enabling them to deliver products and services at scale in the on-demand economy.
